What is the FENIX Transformation Challenge (FTC)?
At FENIX we want you to Experience the Difference! What is the difference you can impose on your SELF, on your BODY, on your LIFESTYLE? Only time will tell! How much time... 12 weeks to be precise! Why did we put the FTC together? Simply because we are passionate about change, and change for the better. What makes us smile is seeing you smile, and cheekily we know that, when you hit your ideal shape you often reach optimal health, and with that comes the life you don’t know you’re chasing... not until you get there anyway! So what is the challenge? We challenge you combine the right type and amount of training with the right type and amount of nutritious food for 12 weeks so that you can experience the amazing phenomenon of TRANSFORAMTION.
What sort of results can I expect?
The most common results members will be chasing in the Fenix Transformation Challenge are to “Lose Weight” and “Shape Up”. Other benefits of the challenge are; increased muscle tone, improved muscular strength & endurance, improved cardio-vascular capacity & agility... not to mention optimal health and a new lease on life with improved self esteem & confidence.
How often do I need to train?
We believe in MOVING every day! Whether it’s a high intensity resistance training session with your trainer, or a group FTC workout, or just a low intensity walk around the block... you will be training everyday! Your trainer will program a training plan that is best for you during this period. Often during this type of challenge to maximise your results you would be looking to complete 4-5 sessions per week at the fitness club of alternating specific resistance training workouts & intense cardio-vascular exercise routines with 2-3 Low Intensity Activity days done wherever/whenever/however you like! The challenge is sure to get the very best out of you and have you exercising in some way or another! All this coupled with the perfect, clean nutrition plan recommended by your trainer will have you looking into the mirror at your desired shape in just 12 weeks.
What is the prize?
The overall winner of the QLD FENIX fitness clubs will take home a $5000 reward as will the overall winner of the VIC FENIX clubs. There is also a Lifestyle award winner for people who have entered any of the previous challenges and have continued on their results with the chance to take home $2500 reward. Did we mention we have a category for the fitness freaks?! This is called the Fitter-Faster-Stronger category... Win a $1500 Holiday!
How do I win?
The GRAND CHAMPION PRIZE is up for the taking... will it be you? The winner will be judged on the overall transformation of YOU and you fellow FENIX entrants. This is the transformation of your mind, your body, and your lifestyle. A true transformation winner will demonstrate that they understand, employ, and inspire the most important steps to a successful transformation.
1. YOUR before and after pictures will be judged along with your body composition changes.
2. YOUR reason for undertaking this challenge and your testimony to how your life is after successfully completing the challenge
3. YOUR knowledge of all the transformation principles linked with the sustainability... lifelong!
4. YOUR week by week diary log in your entry booklet
When does it all start and finish – what are the important dates?
The training for the FTC will start on Monday February 20 and conclude Sunday May 13. Your measurements and photos may be taken from 5pm on Friday February 19 and finally from 5pm Sunday May 13. Your (up to) 200 word reason for entering the challenge must be submitted by your trainer with the photo’s by the end of week 1, and finally everything must be handed to FENIX head office by May 14 at 5pm.
Where and when is winner announced?
On Friday 18, 2011 at Jupiter’s Casino Function Centre (QLD) & Flemington Racecourse Function Centre (The Atrium) Finisher’s Post (VIC) there will be an awards dinner and celebration on Friday May 25 for everyone that has completed the FTC transformation. Invites for this will be produced at the half way mark with RSVP’s by the 8th week.
How do I enter?
Get committed! Challenge Registration is paid at reception. If you are currently training with a PRO trainer then they will most certainly be able to help you through the challenge. If you do not have a trainer then you just need to nominate a PRO trainer when you register that you would like to work with who has a complete holistic approach during the challenge and decide on how often you will see each other face to face; whether it be monthly, weekly, daily, or the most common 2-3 times per week. You will need to visit your trainer a minimum of 4 times during the challenge.
What do I need to get started?
Firstly fix up the entry fee at reception. The entry fee is $110 (earlybird). Plan your training with your trainer, before shots, and measurements done, and entry booklet begun. Entry booklets will be available on time of your measurements.
